Today we are very excited and Matthew won’t stop shouting. We have thought of some new ground breaking aims for the future of Oska Bright  2011– they have never been seen before! We are going to start using Digital Media so that film making is even more accessible, exciting and beautiful! These are our aims and our new name:

Oska Bright Digital Media and Film Festival


Oska Bright is managed by a committee of learning disabled digital media artists and film makers. We aim to:

•    Make it possible for learning disabled artists and film makers to show their digital media art and their films all over the world with “Oska Bright On The Road” - working in partnership with key national and international organisations and festivals to do this
•    Encourage digital media artists and film makers to get better and better by offering training and networking opportunities, giving feedback, giving awards to good art, giving bursaries to promising artists and film makers and by giving advice through our accessible website at www.oskabright.co.uk  
•    Develop new accessible editing software using digital media and film and make it available free of charge through the Oska Bright website
•    We will make a new live website where people with a learning disability can share their ideas, talk about their work and be excited by digital media and film
•    We will develop our library of learning disabled film using digital media and hiring out the films
•    We will explore how we can make digital media fully accessible to people with a learning disability
